Arcadia Lite
Arcadia’s More Attainable Little Sister
Take Arcadia. Now cut the lot size in half. Don’t reduce the home square footage though – just push the house to the lot limits and maximize the second story. If you thought the homes were close together in Arcadia, wait until you drive a street in Arcadia Lite. The homes are decent quality, but the edges of Arcadia Lite can venture into less desirable parts of town. Don’t expect a backyard either – it will likely be as small as legally possible. Just make sure you do your home inspection here to make sure the builders didn’t pull any funny business and you should be just fine. The best streets to live on in this area are between Camelback and Indian School, with some nice pockets south of Indian School as well. The sense of community is strong here, just like in Arcadia, which is a large part of why prices are a bit higher here than other areas of the Valley.
